I'm submitting this now because i feel about ready to give up on it (at least for a while)... even though there may be more that could be done with it. i know it's definately missing one element: bullets. I'll explain.. this manip was initially inspired by the Smashing Pumpkins 'bullet with butterfly wings'.

I did also want to change the background.. but having worked so much on the butterflies, especially the one in the foreground, and not being able to find a suitable alternative background yet i have decided to leave it as it is for now.

ok, so it's probably far from perfect or amazing.. but anyway. Please do comment.. it's always much appreciated. :)

i may work on this again in the future and post an updated version, we'll see. ok, enjoy.. (FULL VIEW please.. :D)

Wow, This is going to go over good. It looks so real. The detail on the butterflies is incredible. Amazing job. Curious what all you used to make this?

is this the photomanip you were telling me about?
i think it turned out nice. i like the not-so-saturated colors...i think they make the piece feel more mechanical.
overall it's a nice image..

i hope you are still considering doing your 'bullet with butterfly wings' project if this isn't it :) (Smile)
